... i just took all the stickers off and resprayed the bike black fading on the tank to yellow, so cant help ya there

I found it's alot easier if you have some warm water handy... Dip the sticker the water and splash some on the faring..When you put the sticker on you'll be able to move it about till you find the right place. Then get a dry cloth and get all the air bubbles out

...this is kinda OT, but as it was mentioned by young_on_old I'll ask here anyway Very Happy

What sort of preparation is required for repsraying little parts of the bike?...I'll be getting the Black NSR, but I want to replace the silver bits with yellow...

As per Summy's reply, the professionals use water too. I have seen car and van graphics being applied, they soak the area in warm clean water, roughly position the graphics and using a squeeze roller or dry cloth, they rub over the graphics to get rid of the water. Once the water is squeezed away, the adhesive begins to take hold.
