Hi, hope im writing this in the right section?!

I'm just trying to get some advice on changing my rear tyre on my CG125, tread was low so ive bought the new tyre a few days ago and am actually worried i might do something wrong now, thus disabling me to ride for a while, which is out of the question Cool !

I beleive i have to disconnect the back brake which is the tricky part im told, as its easy to mess up is it not?

any help much appreciated

have considered getting my local bike shop to fit it, but they wanna charge an hours labour of like 30quid or so, which is what i paid for the tyre in the 1st place, im willing to pay 10-15quid to get it fit but the 30 is a bit steep dont you chaps think?

cheers

The rear brake rod will be held on with a wing nut. Mark where it currently is (if you're happy with that adjustemnt on your brake) then undo it and remove the wing nut.

Push the rear brake foot pedal down and the rod should drop out of the brake arm on the rear wheel.

Disconnect everything, remember where spacers etc go.

Deflate the tyre completely. Use tyre levers to remove the tyre. Be very careful not to pinch the inner tube. When fitting the new tyre be very careful not to pinch the inner tube!

So annoying fitting a tyre only to find you have a puncture.
