Unusual for me to agree with a Bazza post, WTF is going on?

Yeah they're out to control/stifle/destroy the free internet. It's more than likely they'll use some atrocious child porn, terrorism or similar to switch off the old net and funnel everything onto a corporate controlled and heavily censored, pre-prepared internet 2. All the zombified TV trash and movies at super fast speeds that you could ever want, just so long as it doesn't provoke any thought outside of the ruling concencus.

Either that or they'll just let the old net decay into inoperable oblivion, so the mass populous will readily jump over to a fully operating corporate one.

Admittidley I'm half in disbelief, although I've allways swayed towards the thought that something is happening and it is so planned... Though we need not get into that.

What stumps me is what I need to do about it and when,
life is chucking so many problems at me as it is, I and everyone around me are overwhelmed.
It is aparant to me that the modern day society is engineered in such a way that we do feel as such.
But here I am seing history repeat itself, we are brainwashed into letting it fly...
Thinking the unbelievable can never happen, but no... it can, it has and it will again, there should be no doubt about that.

It's hard to balance maintaning and trying to improve a life based on current reality, which so far is all I and many know when there is a horific horizon looming over us.
The hardest part of all is realising that what ever you can do about it you should be doing allready, I know that I'm a fighter but it seems that we've been tricked into surrendering our last defences.

If things go on in such a way which the niave part of me hopes they don't then one day we'll be asking ourselves;
Is it worth risking our own, Our Families or tens of thousands of lives for freedom when faced with a void existance into slavery?
Thankfully I believe it is, but there are weaker a man many who will still deny what faces them and end up shackled.
