Hi All, I have a problem with my x reg R1,I borrowed a meter today and @4000rpm it is reading 18.5v! is this down to a faulty reg/rec ? or is this a normal reading? greatfull for any help.Cheers.

p.s new battery in bike only 1 month old.

Hi

Sounds like a faulty regulator / rectifier (more specifically the regulator circuits in it).
