I bought this lucky pelle dianese jacket about 3 weeks ago. I've just noticed that a seam in the cuff has broken. Sadest thing is I threw the receipt for it away yesterday and I cant find it in my bin.

I got it from Infinity in portsmouth and I was wondering what people would do?

Dunno what I would say to them at the shop... Dunno what they would do either so...

suggestions?

*edit* found the receipt

Don't throw the receipt away next time Rolling Eyes You do know that pretty much everything has a guarantee for 12 months, you should always keep your receipts.

If not, and you'd paid by debit / credit card it should'vs been covered on that.

Credit cards are great for bigger purchases because of the purchase protection they offer for free. Laughing

Obviously only good if you can pay off the balance each month though Rolling Eyes

Anyway, you'd expect better from a 'quality' manufacturer like Dainese. Not cheap gear either!

1st port of call is back to retailer to resolve. Even without the reciept, they should at least send it for repair, or even exchange.
This all falls under the sale of goods act.

Maestro debit card... No come back.
Visa credit or debit... Again not a lot that can be done. Yes they maybe faulty, but the goods would have to be returned and the retailer would have to say they are not going to do anything.

Dainese stuff is getting poorer and poorer in quality these days. Most of their stuff appears to be rather overpriced too.

Yeah southampton even. Even when I'm going through southampton I think I'm in portmsouth...

They said they'd send it to get repaired and phone me when its back.

Tbh If it goes again I'll be asking for a refund...
