Anyone know of a dedicated website, or a Google Earth add-in that will show a list of all biker-friendly meeting places in the UK - cafes, pubs etc. I am not after individual recommendations, but a comprehensive mapping service.

I don't think one exists, but it's a good idea. Why don't you make one?

Most people can name nearly all of the bike haunts within their area, so just using the members on here you could build up a comprehensive database I would have thought.

Even better tie it in with known good biking roads, then you could enter a location and it will plot a nice ride out for you ending up at a nice bike friendly spot.

Would you like me to come and start your bike and warm it up for you too? Laughing

I was considering making a google-earth add-in but didn't want to waste my time if someone else has already done it.

Rolling Eyes Kids, huh?

A swift Google later and I found this which may be your answer? It's specific to an area but I'm still looking to see if I can find one that's nationwide.

Alternative search engines are available!! Laughing

I dunno I have never ever found a biker unfriendly cafe or pub , tbh I think they are happy for the additional trade.

bikepit.com has a search of it's own - you just type in the day of the week and it lists the ones on that night and then you click for a map and futher details.

I tried using the search with the place name and that works too.

Seems to be the most useful one I've found so far!

Do people up north not like meeting other people or something, the map seems very southern biased Laughing

The Carbeth Inn

Probably the West of Scotland's premier bike meeting place.

Carbeth Inn, Stockiemuir Rd, Blanefield, Glasgow, G63 9AY

The road its on (A809) is also of "must do" quality.
