GSXR K7 600 and 750 colours

Hey

Been eyeing up my next bike, fancy something newer as I like riding my bros 57 r6, different to what I've got.

I like it in the red, really stands out because the blue n white or black is really common n from what I've seen red is rare and IMO a nicer colour scheme.

Now I've seen them as 600's like in the link below but do they make them in the 750 because I'd prefer a 750.

I don't think I've ever seen that colour scheme before on the K7.

Buy the 750, fuck the colour it is miles better than the 600 and insurance isnt much different

750's rock, i had a k6 and a k8 and they were great!!

Hmmm jumped the gun lol and thought you were gonna buy a 600. Anyway red was just the 600 im pretty damn sure

bear in mind if you buy a black one it will look scratched to fuck, all 3 of the new gixxers i had looked awful unless they were v well polished....gash suzuki paintwork

Quick on the replies

They are quite rare, would cost quite a bit to swap over red panels etc to a black or whatever colour one.

I have test rode the k8 600 and it didn't seem that great tbh, not alot of oomph at all, I really wanna test ride the 750 and see the difference.

Black is nice, didn't know about the cleaning issue though, won't be yet but always gonna be looking out for one.

The 750 is miles better than the 600, its not a 1000 in a 600 chassis like some people will have you believe but i reckon its the best balance tbh.

If it wasnt for shitty insurance rates at the moment i would have a GSXR 750 K6/7 again without a shadow of a doubt!

if you keep on top of some good polishing/arent too bothered by little swirly scratches then the black is nice looking

my k6 was so bad i had all the panels replaced under warranty

I used to think the blue/white ones were a bit chavvy but now everyone has black gixxers i would definitely consider one, i think the k7 with the mainly white front end looks pretty good

Cheers flip, would hate to think how much it would cost to do....but then if you sell the black or blue fairings too ...hassle.

i must say the k6 750 was by far the worst, it was the very first batch of the new shape ones so i might have been unlucky.

However i didnt take the chance and put venture shield over the k7/k8 bikes

Didnt have the same degree of paintwork issues with them

Another vote for the 750 from me - like R6jonny says, it's not a 'small thou', it's a 'big 6' and should be ridden as such.
As for colour, i think blue/white is the only colour for gixers, although i will make an exception for all black thous.
Personally, i don't like the shape of any post-K5 gixers, they just don't do anything for me - i think it's a combination of the fat tail and too many gaps in the fairings.

i dont own a 750 but i did test ride a k7, it was awesome dude, loads of torque and the riding position was perfect, especially if your short like me 5ft 6 heh

this was the TT edition, like a dark blue, colour not that great, i prefer the normal blue and white

Yeah mistergixer I know what you mean, only really like the newish GSXRs although I do like the old GSXR 400s.

I love the position on them aswell, as you say bacon, perfect for small people like us

I felt I could throw about the 600 like anything.

Does the 600 and 750 have any difference in seat height or different settings?

The 600 and 750 are exactly identical, same chassis with a different engine.

Try a 750 and you will forget about a 600
