hi just got a honda cbr 125 cbr right off and am doing it up, the only problem that is above me is wen the engine starts it over reeves. i cheacked the throtal cable wasent stiking, and that the valve was closing wen i took the carb off....... any ideas......

Have you been doing anything to the carburettor? Has it been taken off?

no i havent, got the bike from the inshore action after it doing 150 miles and i was the 1st person to take it apart, havent taken the carb apart, just off 2 c if it was the butterfly stiking (its not)

Could also be the choke mechanism stuck open or the throttle valve sticking or a bent needle. Or possibloy an air leak on the intake manifold.

If it were me, I'd do a methodical and careful strip and clean of the carb. If you are at all unsure how to do this, please ask for advice before geing ahead.
