Hello All!

So I have been away for 6 months Snowboarding in Canada, missing the bike like crazy so got home last night after some 30 plus hours of traveling and wanted to go for a quick blast on the bike.

Now I knew battery would mostly likely be dead so tried to bump start. Bump starting its just makes what I can only liken to the engine farting it doesnt fully turn over.

Changed the plug and seems to be getting a little further but still not starting. Recomendations?

Drain the carb and tank and fill with fresh petrol. Then try.

Out of curiosity the CBR is being put into storage on Thursday , would adding fuel stabliser letting it run into the carbs then brimming the tank help to prevent this? (bike will be started every week and run for a few minutes with the battery on an optimate).
