Right, Im just testing the water here. Ive always fancied myself a Stupidly fast moped. Ok, I had a tuned to the Tits 70cc Speedfight which topped 70mph back in the day. But I fancy a 172. Somthing to stunt on and KD on aswell as the CBR.

my question is, Will a 2t 125 Gillera rear end fit into a Gillera ICE frame?

Housing the Rad is child's play, I can do all that. I just want to know if the engine will physically fit.

I'm sure you can modify the frame to accommodate it.

I probably can, But going to that effort, I may aswell sell up and buy a Runner 125 to start with. Just wondered if it could be bolted straight in, Like the Speedfight 100 engine bolts straight into a 50cc Speedfight frame.

Why not go the whole hog and build a Yambretta 350 YPVS? It's a well documented conversion and the only externally obvious difference is the twin exhaust.

60bhp lambretta, ultimate street sleeper?

Its pretty damn cool Stink, but probably beyond my technical capabilities to undertake a project like that. I want something I can chuck a 125 2t engine into, 172cc MHR kit and a fair bit of tuning will see 20bhp. And Not upset the handling of the scoot.

id much prefer too tune a 70 , 172's loose the purity off the small engine thing , whack a 70cc polini evo on it , long stroke crank , yasuni c21 and 30mm carb and youll be laughing

but yeah the engine will fit with hardly any effort , new loom will be needed of course with cdi , also youd have to reweld the rear shock mounts on the ice frame to fit the longer 125 shock , its been done loads of times before. is there a mhr 172 kit out now or is it just the malossi one your talking about ?

Considering this thread is nearly 2 years old and was made on the day I joined, I doubt binge still wants to put a 125cc engine in a Gilera Ice Wink
