RS125 not starting :-(

Hi Guys,

Wondering if you can help here, got my first bike sunday have been absolutely loving it but tonight when i went to go out on it, it started ok, was warming it up on my drive, got it to 30 degrees, then went to pull away and stalled it, it then wouldnt restart and still won't now 3 hours later, it turns over fine but thats it, not even a splutter as if it wants to start. I did put 5 litres of optimax in it tonight but can't see that effecting it?

Its a 2001 Aprilia RS125, any help appreciated!

Lift the tank and take out the plug to see if it is running too rich or something like that.

As has been said before take the plug out and see if its black and oily. If it is wipe it on a cloth and try again. If it runs for a while then this keeps happening either the oil pump is turned up too high or the jetting is too rich. Try starting it with the choke on. Also does it start if you try to bump it?
