https://www.cookhaus.co.uk/vinegar/index.htm

I was quite surprised just how well those bits come up.

Could save forking out on a parts washer.

Lemon juice and baking soda together make a de-greaser if yer a weirdo or tight. Smile (might be abit too abrasive)

The only thing that will protect your pinch bolts is a blob a grease or do like me and have a watering can..rinse..wipe..3in1spray..wipe...couple of mins. Thumbs Up
If the weather is mainly crap, then i wipe all of the metal bits with a rag soaked in wd40.

Pat
i must try ACF stuff

This would be why I am not allowed to have Bike parts in the house...

I usually use old petrol as a degreaser as I generally have plenty of it swishing around in the garage...

Hard to tell from pictures how much scrubbing it actually took.

It definately looks like it's worth a go.
