Recently the old ball an chain has been moaning at me about me always going on bike adventures abroad and that we never go away.

Which is about right, i cant think of anything worse than sitting on a beach for a week, a day tops.
So anyway, i deceided to take the TT round europe.
took me a while to perswade her to drive to the Nurburgring, but i managed it. Very Happy

Only took a few pics as my phone did die, but the places we went were:-
France
Italy
Switzerland
Germany
Austria
Belguim
Netherlands

Looks awesome mate, well done! I've always wanted to do a trip of Europe i a nice car/bike...I reckon I'd head down to southern France maybe Monaco or something and then over the alps to Italy...then back over to Germany/Netherlands Very Happy

Can't believe this hasn't had any replies, how did you find driving on the left? and did you camp or stay at b&b type places?

Looks cool, how many days did you go for? Cause that's a fairly long list of places.

Maybe you're best off sticking to the UK Wink

It needs more pics that's the problem, or bigger ones, am sure it was good though. Still somewhat tempted to take the Pontiac for a jaunt down to southern France or Spain, roof off, should be good, and LHD.

driving on the right is easy, somehow i kinda prefer it, only annoying thing is overtaking.

Went for 6 days, which is alot less than i had orginally planned, so ended up doing a bit too much driving to stay on schedule.

not alot of pics as my phone did die

Still think i prefer touring on a sports bike though, the alps are more fun and you just get the bigger sense of adventure, but thats not to say it wasnt very enjoyable.

Cool Wave!

I know what you mean about driving on the right, it seemed better for me too.

I got back from a trip to Northern Spain a few weeks ago, took best part of a day to get from Manchester to Santander. Most of that time was 17 hours from Calais to Santander.

Petrol in France is a piss take, I'm sure you noticed! Was €1.27 when I was there in April.
Tolls were expensive too but the roads were good.

Did you really participate in this apparent sequence of events?

I avioded all toll roads from calais, they are expensive and boring, plus you get to see the country for real.

You are quite right, and i used to have a good one at that, but it got ruined when i took it out on a peddlo and a giant wave engulfed it.

Im too cheap to buy a new one aswell.

It was an enjoyable wave though even if it did cost you a £200 camera Wink Snowboarding over it was also quite fun.
