Though it's highly likely I'll log onto msn and talk drivel to some of the usual candidates all night... Laughing

Surely you can't be serious?
I am serious, and don't call me shirley.

4.1! IMDB is usually pretty accurate with film ratings as it gets votes from all sorts of people.

Interestingly women rated it higher than men overall

Quote:
This movie is absolute rubbish. Not only is the plot incredibly predictable, but the realism is non-existent. As someone who's been riding street bikes for many years, I was horrified to see the characters racing with very powerful bikes on gravel roads, clearly smaller capacity bikes beating faster ones on a straight road where no real skill (apart from a good launch) is needed and one of only two female bikers in the movie suffering the usual lesbian stereotyping. I can almost see the movie executives sitting in an office and going "hey let's cash in on Fast & Furious by doing almost the exact same thing, but with bikes". Crap, rubbish and a waste of good actors' talent.

And I agree

The opening scene made me giggle.

La Haine is worth a watch if it's ever on TV.

Consider that Shaun may find the film funny because it's not the greatest film ever made...

I wouldn't say IMDB gave an accurate rating value.

Most people will vote with either "OMGWTF =10" or "THAT WAS CRAP =1", no-one seems capable of giving an measured response.

True enough with most things unfortunately. No-one seems to "not like football much" (for example), they "hate it with a passion". I think IMDb is better than most though.

I watched it up to the point where they all arrive on there bikes then they all got off the bikes at the one time. They then did some lame dance.
No wonder folk have some seriously f*cked up image of bikers if they watch that sh*t.

Admittedly there's a little sensationalism in the Documentary (for example even if you're a prospect you get to tap some sweet ass - and I should know, I've been a Prospect for 14 years) but apart from that it's a fair representation of life in the hood, right down to the Long Leather Coat never EVER getting caught in the chain ring, cars stood on their boots (we call them trunks on the West Side) for artistic purposes and outdoor Party's with people getting their swerve on in the middle of Industrial Estate's despite the wind chill factor.

Take your Middle Class pretentions and shove them up your ring-piece. People like you make me feel proud to be a (prospective) Biker Boy.

Word. I'm out.

Agree with most folks, biker boyz is utter shit! One of those typical films with the script written by people who know nothing about the subject matter. It also had the tell-tale sign of throwing in the odd bit of biker 'lingo' here and there to make it seem more authentic.

I thought Torque was pretty bad but this was far worse. And Mr Fishburne doing the air-revving thing just looked ghey.
