Exhaust heat shield - MIA - somewhere near Worcester !

I got back from a morning of hooning around Worcester today to find that I'd lost the lower part of the exhaust shield of the Hornet!!

Cue me having lot's of "what if" and then lots of what else is loose on the bike type thoughts. Torque wrench and loctite here I come.

Perhaps this is God's way of telling me I need a custom can on the Hornet but seeing as I'm not particularly religious if anybody's got the exhaust shield for sale (perhaps after fitting a new can?) I'll buy it off you.

i removed the heat shield from the rvf, served very little purpose as my boot would block the heat from my leg and at speed the heat disapates very quickly.

i wouldnt worry about it, however make sure nothing is close to it now, for example i had a few cables that ran past the heatshield so had to cable tie them so they wouldnt touch the pipe.
