ok so im driving around no trouble, pull over to wait for a friend. then i notice alot of fuel coming from the overflow out of the carb...
i go to start the bike and the batterys nearly dead, great timing.

so i try bumping it and it just about starts and make the noise as if theres no petrol in the bike, but i have a full tank.
no matter what i did, the bike wouldnt start. and all this time its leeking fuel, just constantly pooring out the overflow.

i get home and take the tank of and take the carb off, cleaned it up and checked the flaot bowl, my theory was it was stuck wide open or something.

put it all back together and it ran no problems, no leeks.

NOW, i left it overnight. charged the battery. it will start no problem but as soon as it starts its leeking fuel from the overflow again. the bike will run, but it constantly leeks.

its doing my head in and i cant see whats wrong, the floats not broken or stuck so why is it just running straight through.

any help apprecciated, leigh.

Check the needle jet has nothing on the seat causing it to stay open. Could be the smallest of things making it not seat properly.
