What type of paint for bodywork question?

I have purchased a solo seat cowl but it is unpainted.

So obviously i need to paint it ,but what type of paint can i use?

Plus how can i make sure i match the colour to the body work seeing as mine is a race rep?

Do custom painting companies not include colour codes when the job is done? Or was it done before you bought the bike?
If you can't get these codes then you're on your own Whatever you do don't get some amatuer at halfords to "match" the colour, it will end up looking silly.
