Will BT014's be ok for a trackday in inters? Or would I be better off buying some race scrubs.
Both have less than 1000 miles on them.

Cheers

Bt014's will be fine mate. Ron Haslem used to use them on his blades at the donnington race school, and they were good enough for him Thumbs Up
Ive done a trackday on BT021's - they werent ideal but even they were ok. Thumbs Up

i had 014s on the GSXR when i first got it, and found them no different to the 021's that were on it when i came to sell it.

ive always thought ''all tyres are the same'' and never really noticed a difference until i encountered pirelli supercorsas... fills me with overconfidence.

Any modern sports tyre will be upto the job for most people. Just don't be ham fisted when fully cranked over, they're a hell of a lot better than the tyres you had on your 500 I'd imagine!

Race scrubs aint the worst idea, if only to save wear on your road tyres. Thats what I'm doing this year, getting some supercorsas fitted just before Llandow in the hope they'll last most of my trackdays, then I'll put my Diablos back on with lots of wear left Cool
