I need to format the cell in order that it will show the value 000001 (and so on - military shite so the zero's are relevant) - but it obviously just switches it to 1 (and so on).

Can't for the life of me mind how to Embarassed

Right click in the cell and hit format cell, then go to custom and type in 000000 for however many 0's you need and that should do it for you.

Right click cell, format cell, custom

Then enter the size of the number (enter six 0s for your number).

Nah Davie, I've seen that one a few times though (today for a matter of fact as I got stuck in traffic there in the cage)...its the 600 in all yellow.
