At the Thundersprint.
I talked to Tousland without knowing who he was.
I talked to Sammy Miller and Jim Redman ( who I do know).
I almost planted the bike into hay-bails in practice Laughing
I did 70 in a 30 tucked in behind a Hailwood rep on a closed road with police escorts.
I got wood from a kiss off a cool Chinese chick. Surprised
I dropped a valve and failed to start in racing proper Sad
I got cheered up by Sammy Miller who took the P out of me Very Happy
Oh I met Scud from BCF and Jamie Stokes both of who were very pleasant and good company!

I nearly text Jamie whilst I was there as well. Rolling Eyes

Today, I didn't talk to anyone famous.
Didn't text Jamie.
Didn't wave to Wali even though I was 6 feet from him.

Fail. Laughing

I did see that fella from Coronation street in the back of a pick up truck tohugh. Laughing

I found out today that the reason I was stuck in holding for almost a hour was because Mr Tosland was doing exactly what he wanted on the track. He was their as a paid celleb and doing what celebs do for money. Some open supermarkets he pratted about on a motorcycle. he was under ACU sprint regs and should have been treated just as any other rider at the event as his conduct was IMHO unaceptable.
