Did it on a mini moto once. Hit the front brake hard and heard 'twang' followed by no decrease in speed whatsoever.

Guess where it was made Thumbs Up

Incorrect, the answer I was looking for was China...but thanks for playing. Better luck next time.

*applause*.

I'm guessing your disk was well past tolerances, or the pads were knackered?

What were you doing using the back brake anyway? I forgot my bike had one!

umm i find the front rather sharp since i put the prolites on with new pads. and i always use the rear just to adkisy speed slightly . im guessing the disk was too thin /dead had some rust etc on it and loads of groves from previous owner. also had a pleasant suprise that my front sprocket was held on by a circlip .... oh the joys of buyign a bike of some idiot . always finding jobs to do on it .

first ofall had mdd frotn disks (one prolite one standard) then i discoverd the plusg where mix and match ( iridium / normal ) and that the monkey had fitted new pads ont he fromt ( to one side of the caliper on each caliper >< ) oh well its all fun

i remember once a mate drove into a raised car park. Was one of those you try to leave the floor and he did, except as he landed and hit the brakes his disks decided they no longer wanted to be a part of the car... only just missed the wall in front, lol.

Good old ford orions... only good for scrap Laughing
