How can you tell if someone can do you for speeding?
Earlier I was going along this road and I saw these 2 men with these things that looked like laptops, in plain yellow jackets, I was wondering if they were speed guns?
They pointed it at me but I thought there was suppose to be a van, but there wasn't one.

Sometimes you get community-watch type do-gooders who attempt to scare the general motoring populace by pretenting to be a radar trap or some such. I have heard if they record you speeding you only get a warning letter as their evidence is inadmissable.

Are they the ones who just sit in chairs in florescent jackets writing stuff on a notepad.

Had loads round here recently, always wondered what they were doing.

Yeah they had florescent jackets and had these laptop like things, standing up, there was 2 of them, spaced out about 100 yds and they pointed something at me, there wasn't a van though.
