Is it cool to have matching his and her bikes and/or matching leathers? Or should these people be shot on sight?

Should the man always have the bigger/better bike?

Are you intimidated or turned on by a woman that's got a 'big-un' {fnar fnar}

Not really a fan of his and hers.

They are two separate people, not one entity.

Yes

No, that screams freud to me. I prefer smaller bikes. If my missus was into bikes, she might prefer bigger ones. That doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Doesn't make much difference to me. I do like to se women who have bikes which aren't traditionally 'girls bikes' but it doesn't make that much difference, and there are small and large bikes which aren't traditionally 'girly'.

Perhaps, but not both at the same time.

HTH.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Shot on sight!

Girls on bikes have no real 'turn-on' appeal to me?

"Don't worry about the hairy chin and 42" waste, she has a GSXR, she’s hot"

If a super fit girl rocked up on a GSXR in full leathers and worn sliders, I would probably be standing there drooling. Saying that if a super fit girl rocked up on a micro scooter it would probably get the same reaction except slightly less impressed.

Whenever i see 'his and hers' anything(especially bikes/bikers), it instantly makes me think of Howard & Hilda Hughes:

I just saw the name shellshock and had to check the date of this thread! Shocked

His and hers is just wrong and evil.

It wouldn't bother me if my missus had a bigger bike than me, although I would expect a ribbing for it down the pub.

We have never owned his n hers bikes although to my eternal shame we have occasionally ridden them - when I first got the 550 Zeph we went out a couple of times with me on that and the OH on the 400 which was the same size, colour etc....... Embarassed

Matching gear though? No way! Laughing

Funny thing is, ever time I get a new bike within a few weeks he has usually got one too, and it's usually either bigger or newer than mine. Confused When I got the 400 he bought the Daytona 5 weeks later. When I got the 800 cruiser he got the vmax within a month, when I got the 550 as my winter hack he got an XJ600 as his approx 2 months later. Thinking

I'm not sure that matters ... or do you intend to tell that story to everyone you meet!! Wink

So it seems matching bikes are OK, but matching leathers are a no-no right?!!? Thinking

No, obviously not. Matching, FFS. Its not right in relation to anything in coupledom. Unless of course we are talking Orgs, in which case its probably quite effective

Are you actually some kind of brain quack, cos you sure do ask alot of questions designed to incite.

Flip, as I mature I realise that sometimes it is better to stfu.

There are couples out there that see fit to wear his and hers ... also seen a lot of his and her bikes ... its normally like he has a GSXR1000, she has a GSXR600 or summin rather than both the same mind ...
