Hi,

Can anyone shed any light onto anything about this model of the NS125R ? l believe because it was in red/white/green that it was limited edition only available to the italian market ?

l've seen pictures of this model and l've noticed that it differs from the uk version, as it had twin front discs ?

Regards Kerry

Hi

Several models of NS had twin disks at the front, but most only had a single disk.

I remember reading an article years ago and I think it taked about the Adriatico model being built in Italy for the Japanese market.

All the best

Keith

Hi,

Thanks for that, l knew a few different models of the NS125R had twin front disc's fitted like l think the rothmans model, but l didn't realise the the adriatico model was for the japanese market (isn't that abit backwards, shipping an japanese bike made in italy to japan) Question

l'm trying to find out as much as possible about the differences between the different models of the ns125r's (between 1985 - 1993) as l've got a 1987 D plate NS125R with ATAC and twin disc's (Uk models of the ns125r didn't come into the country until 1989)

Hi

The Adriatico might have been sold in Italy as well.

With imports I wouldn't trust the registration plate to give you a real idea of the age. Too many are miles out.

From a couple of old catalogues, no pics of NS125R from 1986, but 1987 had the NS125R with both single and twin disks. The twin disk model in Rothmans colours and with an extra 2hp claimed.

All the best

Keith
