Im going, need to pick up some leathers, maybe a new skid lid too. As said, if you dont want any gear or dislike speedway then dont bother. Is nice to look at the bazillion bikes in the mahoosive car park though!

I reckon this years will be the last at Peterborough. The Tail End in September has already moved a lot further north.

It all went down hill after they stopped using marquees for the evening entertainment if you ask me!

Great, moved from 30 miles to 75 miles away! Hopefully they still keep the opener in peterborough!

I quite enjoy the BMF (main one), pity I can't make it this year. Last year was fun, they had the Purple Helmets display team on. The entertainment is usually good and they let you take your own booze into the venue which is quite enlightened.

There are hundreds of stalls but I'm never convinced that there are mega bargains to be had. Nice though just to wander around soaking up the 'bike' atmosphere.

It usually clashes with Creatures Small Change rally, when in recent years, people have left the BMF (disappointed) and joined us on the Fens to party.

noep at any spare change rally about 8 miles away - last year we had around 40 peopel who used my rally as a base - in fact they didnt make teh BMF till sunday

Im all kitting up now, will be leaving for the BMF this afternoon with my mate in his sidecar outfit. Karma to anyone who gets a decent picture of the ratchop with the trailer attached on display at the riders digest stand, my decent camera is broken.
