This actually happened in my car but you guys are hot on the legal stuff so i thought i'd ask, MODS please move if this is not really right for here.

Today was driving with my friend, suddenly i see him plough into a car on the otherside of the road, his cars a write off.

The guys in the other car tried to claim we were racing, but in all honesty we weren't we were driving to fill up with petrol. Anyway this means that the copper took down all the details of my car...

get home and find out my MOT has expired, now i've realised it will be booked in this week, but can i still get done for this even though they overlooked it at the accident?

Thanks for your help, will never post things about my car again ;]
