I dont know why it is but I am strangely attracted to the white Honda pan-europeans that can be found on websites such as forcemotorcycles.com. Is it just me or do they look pretty darn sexy? Maybe its the fact that they used to be police bikes and are now available to any old biker which makes the prospect of owning one so attractive Smile .

Have to admit I find the Ducati 848 in white uber-cool but could i picture an old 916 with the same colour scheme? Im not so sure. The Triumph Speed Triple is another bike which I think stands out when given the white paint job. What does everyone else think?

My uncle has an ex m.o.d escort bike its a peach, it came with a full strobe kit (which is for sale btw Thumbs Up ) and a radio (which no longer works). It's an 03 1100 and he paid about 3k for it fsh by the m.o.d motorway miles only and was used for escorting tanks lorries or visiting dignitaries.

That is one tidy looking bike by the way mooserx. That is exactly the sort of thing im looking for as my next purchase. Now where did I put that £3000....

Force is run by a bloke called Nick (as far as I know). Used to deal a lot with ex-military bikes such as the Armstrongs and HDs.

Northumbria Police have scrapped their bike unit because it's "too dangerous", which I presume accounts for all the low mileage bikes from Hampshire.

If anyone knows of an existing Armstrong MP560 (ex-police prototype), you will be rewarded greatly!

This is one of the only photos we can find on the Armstrong forum:

Im pretty sure that looks the same as the MT500 just with different fairings on it.

You might be luckier buying one of them and then painting it white and getting new fairings Thumbs Up

Cheers

It has a totally different front end (forks, brake, wheel, mudguard), a modified rickman fairing off a CB250, different handlebars, different engine, electric start, different pannier system, oil strainer is in a different position, different carb.... the list goes on.

It looks the same as it IS the same bike, just with a lot of mods. I have a rickman fairing in the back garden ready to make a replica, but money isn't allowing at the moment.

And I have 2 MT500's already Laughing

Actually some white electric start MT500's were used by the police:
https://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj286/MT_Riders_Club/Police%20MT/Whiteplod.jpg

So obviously I am biased to them!

This is nice for a modern bike:

I had one pull up beside me at traffic lights and give me an evil glare...

Looked kind of like this
