Multi-Bike Insurance

Was just reading another thread about how about how people find their old CG125's better than their bigger bikes (i agree btw guys!), and it got me thinking about my own CG, currently collecting garage-dust.

So i was thinking when it comes to renewal of insuring both my main bike for pleasure (CB500) and my CG125, for the 20 mile roundtrip to work etc.

By renewal, i'm going to be 19, and a university student to boot (so both expensive to insure, and not much money available to pay for it!)

Now the question is: Is it going to cost me much more to insure myself on both bikes than it will be to insure myself on the CB500 only? (hoping someone else around my age has checked it out)

Hell, should it actually save me money (more MPG, tiny road tax)? Or are the costs (maintainence, MOT, etc) likely to wipe out savings?

The alternative of course, is to sell the CG - which feels like a shame because it is (going to be) in excellent condition.
