Hi there,

I've got over the inital awesomeness of having a bike that sets of car alarms on idle, and now wish to fit some baffles/quieting stuff.

I've got a drz, with a full fmf system. As far as I can make out, it was once road legal, and now is 'makes ears bleed' loud.

What sort of a baffle can I fit, I've found universal ones, that seem to require you to drill a hole in the lower to bolt it in. I'm not averse to this idea, I was just wondering if there was any other way.

Cheers
Pyro

Urm dont think one could be fitted without drilling, and unless you can some how pack it with something which requires drilling out rivets an then packing it with wadding then re-reviting it i'd go with the simple bolt type? But i'm imagining its got a cone tip so thats why you dont want to drill it?

I'm sure there's ones that are held in with an inner circlip which presses against the inside of the baffle and exhaust spout?

Failing that, red bull can + wire wool... lots of it. It's a good, temporary way of passing your MOT on a race can. well I did use a baffle which was next to useless in terms of noise suppression, hence the red-bull can and wire wool.
