Well, no shit...however...

BCF should have a sticker scheme where by you slap one on your bike which will have your user name on then when we see each other on the road we know who the heck they are and can give a hearty wave (rather than the rapidly diminishing biker nod)!

I only say this because twice in the past week I've seen 2 lasses on bikes (ok, 1 bike 1 scooter) but though "phwarrrr! I'd like to buy them a drink"

Rolling Eyes

Anybody else think this would be a good idea? We'd pay a small price for the stickers of course.

P.S. If you are the lass on the Honda and were turning right at the lights by Switch Island this morning OR the lass with a blue ped in St. Helens msg me Laughing (there's probably something in the forum rules about not dating!)

This has been bandied about several times, I think some were sorted many moons ago(Didn't Swaffs do a load?), but not recently.

Maybe we could just get 'BCF' tattoos instead? Laughing

I'd love a sticker set for BCF, a keyring or something noveltyish and allows us to recognise one another/ I know BTF (Bike Tech) give out cards to bikers they meet, met two on a roundabout and was given a card.

Theres a sticker/vinel place not too far from me, i could make some enquiries.

The problem will always be £££, how much would you be willing to pay for a BCF sticker, bare in mind it would be alot more expensive to get custom ones with your username...

I could probably get a good deal on T-shirts which would be cool, could have your username on the back or something Thumbs Up and could be put over leathers for things like rideouts or big meets, even a random pop to box hill or whatever. Still the same problem is £££...

c_dug the t-shirt thing would be handy to. I was in a group could "bikecruiser" a few years back and we done the same thing.

As to pricing a thing a few quid would be reasonable, however I don't know how much these things cost...especially if each individual one had user names on.

If you make some inquiries in your area (where you from?) I'll make some inquiries to the local company in liverpool where we get our Vans done...might be able to get a good deal from them as we give them quite a bit of business.

What would everybody else be wiling to pay, and for what. We could do key-fob, T-shirts, bike stickers patches for leathers would be good to Very Happy

Unless you saw their bike parked up I doubt you'd notice.
Could all wear pink swastika armbands though. Subtle and fun.

Some of us with bikes who have upset those without bikes could become victims of cowardly actions if we had our names on the sticker. However a small sticker just to show a kindred spirit would be a good idea.

I like the idea of BCF tattoos, we could have just the rev counter or 'C' of the BCF logo. Yeah, I'm in, but somebody else will have to go first.

How about a patch of the logo to have your girlfriend/mother sew on the arm of your leathers? Tattoos/t-shirts would be nifty but you'd never see it unless the member was off their bike. Thumbs Up

I started making these Dr. Moreau-esque animashes a while back, when I was a regular poster on b3ta.
I used to use them as an example project back when I taught photoshop. Great fun.

There are quite a few design your own sticker sites on the net that seem pretty cheap to use ( zazzle seems quick and idiot proof )

If Korn will allow use of the BCF logo everyone could knock their own up. Im sure the logo itself would be instantly recognisable even if everyones style varied a bit. Or everyone could decide on a format together and just use that format when ordering.

I think we are flattering ourselves a bit about the popularity of this forum. It has, what, 200 'active' users amongst a bike riding public of how many?

Like when someone sees a bike accident somewhere, then makes a post as if they are likely to be a member on here.

Not trying to put a downer on your idea, just think the likelihood of randomly coming across another BCFer on the road are remote to say the least. So remote in fact that if you DID actually come across someone with a BCF sticker; you'd be so excited you'd probably crash your bike.

Personally, I'm a little more worried about the "Girlfriend slash Mother" bit: it's as if they're synonymous here... Sick
