WTF......1st Wheelie!!!!!

COming back from a nice run up to Hartside Pass today after a quick cuppa and a slice of millionaires shortcake (best in the world IMHO) and decided to take the more deserted route back to Newcastle.

Anyway, found myself on this deserted road out in the middle of nowhere, quite straight but with a few little undulations. Was pootling along quite happily then thought 'What the hell'. Dropped it down to second and twisted the throttle and.......nothing apart from shooting along quicker and having to hold on for grim life .

So gave it some thought and decided to weight the front less, drop down to about 4000rpm, whacked the throttle open while giving a little tug up and.....WHOA...Jesue Fcuking Christ.....the front lifts up for about 2 secs before coming back down again although I must have grabbed another handful as it's instantly back in the air again for another second before i realise that it actually worked and sensibility/panic/self preservation takes over and I ease off. Oh, and also that sickly feeling when yer balls slap into the tank at speed

So, no longer a one-wheeled virgin (although not sure if I'll ever try it again as it scared the bejesus out of me!!!

Did it by accident yesterday, fucking shit myself, dumped the clutch on the lights, tbh I didn't mean to, the lever slide out of my grip...

Think my arsehole gripped the seat, the two lads I was ridding with pissed themself laughing...

I'm pretty sure I'm more likely to win the lottery than 'accidentally' pop a wheelie on my RS50.

But hey, I imagine it is rather on the scary side, bikes were designed with two wheels for a reason.

not really the same seeing as i can do wheelies and shit stoppies, but i did a good stoppie today by accident, whacked on the brakes and did a stoppie at about 60, was all pleased with myself because i usually just do a little endo as i come to a stop. put a smile on my face for the rest of the day love summer.

I can wheelie now . . ish, i was practicing in a car park with another bcf user.
What i do it stand with my feet on the ground pop it up and sit back down with my feet draggin then when i have found my balance i hope on the pegs and go for it.

I did one in anger! 10 miles of solid traffic on the M25 coming to the Dartford Toll (unfortunately I live in Dartford...) on the day after boxing day (Farking freezing!, ridden back from Ely (north of Cambridge)). Finally got through all the traffic, hands the coldest they have ever been and then the queue I joined was the slowest moving ever, the toll lady was so unbelievably lazy, a good 2 cars were moving though each other toll to her one! When she finally pressed the button for the barrier I just gave it a big handful on the Bros (not the slouch most would think it is). Must have half deafened the woman in the booth, them narrow concrete walls either side and my bloody loud exhaust! Felt pretty good though, only came up about a foot but it didn't slam down as I was still accelerating fairly hard!

I'm just waiting to get my Firestorm on the road, legend has it that they are quite prone to wheelies....

I popped my first on when a car beeped its horn as I was pulling away. Shit myself, got a handful of throttle and the front lifted an inch for a nano-second.

I manged to Pop a wheelie on my rs77 when i had it : ) was from standing though , got it up to about 10k rpm dumped clutch and it shot up , carried it along for about hmm 10 metres , nothing impressive but was my first sooo

Iv lifted front over brow of hill and as it hit to floor it wobbled like a fucker so stopped doing that , was thinking about getting an old cbr or something to practise on.


When I was younger I always wished I could have a motorbike and wheelie it and I haven't grown up yet either.

Did one on my test! lol Had already failed on my U-turn and I was steaming at myself and later in my ride popped the clutch and up I went. (alot more than an inch ) Examiner wouldn't give me any skill points to counter my U-turn but we did have a laugh with my instructer lol.
