Cheap ways of painting fairings?

I've got some crashed panels that I've glued together with fiberglass and want to paint them, purely for track use.

I want to paint them yellow, not bothered on colour match. I'm
Not bothered about it looking perfect, but do want it cheap! I'll just be whacking some free stickers ontop.

I've seen on an American site someone painted a charger using a paint roller that you normally do Walls with, is this possible with a bile?

If you have any suggestions please make them! Also, what's the best: cheapest product to use and where can I buy it!

Matt black from your local cheap home plus / pound shop.

Should only cost you 6 quid at most.

Yes but yellow is gay, and matt black is cheap. And not gay. Unless you put it up uoir bumhole or something.

If I went the plastikote tin way, how many cans will I likely need? Is it worth priming or if I sand the penals will the plastikote be ok?

Go down to Halfords and buy the closest match you can find, some primer and some laquer.

Worked ok for me when I did a spare mud guard on the track bike just for the hell of it.

I've still got primer and laquer kicking about somewhere I think, O and some Orange paint, but I guess you don't want that.

I don't have the mud guard I painted anymore, but the finish was better than I thought it would be considering the effort I put in.

I sanded mine down before I primed it, but didn't worry about sanding between coats too much.

It's something I can give you a hand with if you want.
