Hey again guys,
So me and my dad were thinking about going on a biking holiday next year.
i was just looking at some insight into where would be good for first time euro tourers? and are there any specific things we'd need to get to spain/france etc, aprt from fuel, the bike, maps/gps, passports and remembering to ride on the right side..?
cheers lads. |

hello mate.
I havent actually been on a tour before but my mate has.
he took himself and his mate down from anglesey to south of spain (alcala la real) he used a bungee rope to hold all the lugagge of his bike. they were on sports bikes "cbr600f" - "fzr400rr"
they said they coverd alot of miles in a day and took them 4 days to get there including ferry crossing wich isnt so bad.
they took the following:
- a few days worth of clothes
- tent
- sleeping bag
- camping stove
- tinned foods
- coffee,milk sugar etc (essential)
- BEER (ESSENTIAL) lol
- bathroom stuff like tooth paste and all that
all strapped down and ready to go!
when they got back....they said that it was the best thing that they have ever done and also rubbed it in my face because i couldent go (i was working) dam lol
so my advice is go to the south of spain.
good luck ____________________ BULLDOG BASH 2009 - 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th OF AUGUST
