You think they'd learn after using a Polish Spitfire squadron to talk about the dangers of East European immigration.

Whats the problem?

most leaflets and political flyer's use photo agency images instead of real people, especially as there are people that dont believe in freedom of speech and political views who go about making there point though abuse and violence.

Quite, don't see the problem myself. Most of the photos you see in newspapers, leaflets, flyers and almost all advertising are from stock sites.

Yeah...

But if you're trying to push a certain agenda and the pics end up flying in the face of it... It ends up looking very stupid.

Thumbs Up

The BNP specialise in making themselves look stupid though. The beeb should put them on Question Time, it would be hilarious.

I agree.

The best way to deal with this is to encourage open debate. Then we'd be able to show them up for the idiots they are. At the end of the day, their arguments are not supportable... However much they say so.

The BNP don't want to put curbs on immigration. They want to put curbs on non-white immigration.

As for the leaflets using stock images - two points if I may:

- Just because every other party does it doesn't make it any less of a con;

- Using foreign models or photographers goes against two of their tenets: anti-foreigner and "British jobs for British workers".

Not only is it normal practice for political parties and corporations to use pictures of models, in the case of the BNP, there is another reason.
If they were to use pictures of real working supporters, many of those in the photos would lose their jobs.

What a wonderful country this is.
