Why do they not not make them prom a more shock resistant material! That would last me less than a week.

I was very stupid and haven't taken out insurance, however when I get it fixed I WILL be taking insurance out on it.

Mini is very solid, it was all repaired and restored by us, it'll have a 1.6 Vauxhall engine which will be turbo'd Very Happy (www.lovemutley.co.uk - that's my ongoing blog)

It's an apple life-accessory, not a useful tool Razz.
Unfortunately I found even a fairly hardy previous phone couldn't quite handle me jumping down with full force on to a 600cc single kickstart with no seat and the phone in my back-pocket Embarassed.

If you can stand the wait for the initial time-out, you could always get insurance on it now Smile... presuming the phone hasn't already reported back to mapple what has happened to it anyway Razz.

Can't beat a Nokia, mine was dropped endlessley including down a toilet and still worked Laughing Sony Erricson is doing well too, multiple good drops, not had the toilet test yet though, somehow think it'd fail.

The screen still look ok, might be able to buy a new shell from China on ebay for a couple of quid.

Because they know you have to have one, and will go out and buy another...we live in the throw away age now!! Nothing is for keeps, everything needs updating!!

How else will they make sooo much money.

Another phone abuser here.

My old 3310 is probably still going somewhere. Laughing

Motorola's are crap, killed one of those, killed a Siemens, Sony Ericsson's are ok, had two now. The first was ok, the one I have no has a broken camera, and the numbers have all worn off the keypad. Upgrade time soon, but I may just go and get my 3310 out of the loft(it probably still has full charge after 5 years. Laughing )

I would never have an iPhone it would last about ten minutes.

Was at someone elses house (so double embarrassment), in my leathers, had my jacket pocket open with my phone in it, as I leant foward to flush the loo it fell out of my pocket, bounced and plonked straight into the bog. Thankfully the flush was quicker than the phone dropping so without a thought went straight after it, a couple of days to dry out and it was good as new. So there you go, always zip up your pockets.

I finished off my last phone like that. Was having a slash and then trying to do up the (draw-string) trousers so lifted up the top (with the phone in a pocket in line with my naval to the right).

Slid out, splosh.

Thumbs Down

I also had to fix my Ipood the other day because the METAL CASING couldn't take a 3 foot drop to its corner and bent in, which didn't allow the hold panel to fit in. Apple Thumbs Down
