Emergency stop...

Phew...had a near hit tonight on the way home from work, there is a small bend with a t-junction as I leave the small town I work in, and some old git who clearly should have his licence revoked drove straight out in front of me and the driver on the other carriageway, without giving way.

Causing us to perform an emergency stop, and the line of cars behind us too!

All of us honked our horns, but the little old man didn't bat an eye lid, didn't look at any of us...unbelievable!!!

I am so thankful that the landrover behind me stopped immediately too, otherwise I'd have been properly rear-ended!!!!

I had a similar thing the other day. I was coming down a road in a 30 zone and this women driver pulling out into the road looked my direction, looked the other way and just pulled out. I didn't think I could stop in time so I swerved onto the other side of the road and swerved back.

She still seemed totally oblivious to what danger she'd caused.
