hello everyone, this may come across as a bit stupid but i have searched the web to find out if the fzr600r exhaust will fit the fzr400rr exup (89) model, the reason for this is because i would like to have an aftermarket race exhaust on it.

i have searched all the exhaust manufacturers that i know and they dont do them for the fzr400rr but........they do for the 600????? wtf?

anyway any advice or evil comments on how this may be a stupid post are welcome

thanks alot.

wouldnt it be easier to hacksaw off the flange and buy a slip-on? Would probably get a wider range of cans in the slip on variety too....

Hi

Do you mean the full system (the downpipes / collector are the important bits) or just the can?

Suspect the can might physically fit but might not match up with the collector. Probably bodgeable.

Full system would probably fit on easily, but would probably nor work that well.

All the best

Keith

Depends on what you want to pay aswell?

Not sure about where your based but these guys did a great custom job for me, what ever you want they can and will do for you.

https://www.quillexhausts.com/

They do full systems and endcans, made to order.
On there site there is nothing for your 400 just the 600 but like I said they can do anything as they make all there stuff on site.

Hope this is of some help.
