Hi all

I am going to buy a laptop with the video card -ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3410, is this any good?

I need the laptop for 3-D designing, i.e running software such as CAD. I would also like to play the occasional game, i.e. Warcraft 3, WoW, Sims 3?

Also is the graphics card dedicated or integrated?

Here are the rest of the specs:
Processor Intel Core 2 Duo T5670 / 1.8 GHz
RAM Installed Size 2 GB / 4 GB (max)
Graphics Processor / Vendor ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3410
Max Allocated RAM Size 384 MB
Hard Drive 120 GB - Serial ATA-300 - 5400 rpm.

It's a fully blown GPU with hardware transform and light etc, it's memory rollout depends on the laptop though. Performance wise it'll run warcraft 3 and wow just fine, can't comment on the sims 3 but I doubt it'll have problems tbh.

You'd be better of building a desktop PC. Would be cheaper as well.

acer aspire 6930g is the laptop to get.

2ghz duo core processor
4gb ddr2 ram of which 1gb can be shared with the graphics card.
nvidia 9600GTm graphics upto 2.2gb
HDMI connection
120gb hdd

it even runs crysis quite well and thats a demanding game
