removing swingarm from k7 gsxr600 please help

Hi all, I have been trying to get the shaft free to remove the swingarm from the frame. I know you need a castle type tool but I dont have one and even a few garages I have spoken to have said they dont have one. Any suggestions would be great!

I thought the castle tool was only for the adjuster and not for the swingarm pivot itself?

If not you can make your own castle tool by grinding down an old socket.
