Having a couple of problems with my gearbox and possibly my clutch,my commute to work is nsl back roads so i thrash the knackers off my bike to keep up with the traffic, occasionally in 4th it has like a clutch slip feel to it but it's very sharp and lasts less than a second,it's as if the clutch has been pulled in and released very quickly, could this be a gearbox problem and not the clutch? Also sometimes going from 2nd to 3rd the gearlever gets stuck and i have to stamp the b4stard down then up again, could the problems be linked?

hi,
the gearbox on these engines dont like serious abuse.
(once the g/box goes your as well getting another complete engine, lol)
regular oil changes with mineral oil & being a bit more gentle & adjusting the cluch regularly, is the only way to avoid gearchange issues, im afraid.
cheers,
GAZ
