just done a check on a 2008 Cat C bike, and under the category Vehicle Type Approval it has L3

but on my other bike it just has Null

does the L3 stand for level 3 damage?

L1 = Cat A
L2 = Cat B

etc..??

please let me know ASAP

Thanks. Thumbs Up Karma

It's on all bikes from what I can gather and refers to a set standard of europeon guidelines that the bike has to meet in order for it to be sold to the general public.

(for this pdf https://www.vca.gov.uk/additional/files/vehicle-type-approval/vehicle-type-approval-for-motorcycles/vca039.pdf )
