Hi, I have a little 50cc which i havn't started in a looong time, when i tryed yesterday the kick start wasn't spring back up like it should. The kick start will go back to position but i have to put it there if i don't it just stays in the downwards position. Anyone exprienced this before and know how to fix the problem? Or anyone know how to fix it anyway...

Cheers

It sounds like the kickstarter shaft has dried out, you could take the case off and spray all round the kickstart shaft with wd40 and hope this frees it off, but to be honest the only way to free them off properly is the disassemble the kickstarter and grease every thing, the only problem is that the spring are usualy a nightmare to re install, i have put a hole through one of my finger nails doing one before).
