Well thats the whole realisim thing out the window then. Once again another games comapny sinks to the level of cash rather than quality.
Dissapointing, but inevitable I guess, it is Codemasters after all.
Ah well at least the 12 year olds will have another game they can button mash at without getting too frustrated with.
I heard Armed Assult 2 got released in Germany a few weeks back too, unfortunatly with more bugs than a 10 day old corpse.
Sigh, I remeber when games were about quality first, profits second.

I thought the damage system was mean to be "brutal"? He took how many rounds in the second vid.

Pretty disappointing really, in the original game he'd have died about 5 times playing like that.

We have waited delay after delay for this expecting it to be a game that sets the benchmark on realism for next-gen gaming, what a let down.
It's call of duty with a bit better graphics and huge maps. I'd even go as far to say Battlefield 2 seems more realistic than this, i'm bored of shooting games atm if i'm honest. There hasn't been a decent simulation release since ArmA, even then that was bug-ridden.

gutted too, used to play the original op flash in 2001, very impressed by it back then, still impressive for its realism now considering it's age.
it's profits that pay wages and keep companies afloat. the game makers have to tailor it to the console game players who have limited controller inputs and arent interested in realism. |
