I've got a pair of Richa Protect, they were £30 exactly. They're very lightweight, almost like motocross or cycling gloves except with some hard armour on knuckles.
Very comfortable for me, I have problems with summer gloves as all the little bits, edges of the leather, seams or corners of armour always dig in and rub and get very painful, these are best i've found.

Search Koord
I would never pay more than £30 for gloves and have winter gloves that cost less than £20 and still me my hands warm after 2 years..... ____________________ Just because my bike was A DIVVY, does not mean i am...... |

Hein Gericke do yellow leather summer "cruiser" gloves. Single skin, ventilated chromic leather with minimalist armour over the palm and knuckles.
Extremely comfortable and almost impossable to sweat in. Not exactly the height of fashion though. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”
I did the 2010 Round Britain Rally on my 350 Bullet. 89 landmarks, 3 months, 9,500 miles. |

Hi all
With regards to gloves how much need is there for carbon fibre armour etc in them like the Richa Protects ^^^? I have a pair of gloves like these ones which I'm thinking of using as summer gloves once I've done my CBT (cause I'm cheap lol! ):

As you can probably see all they really have is a bit of padding on the knuckles but not much. Do you think they would be alright for riding in? Sorry to hijack the thread
Thanks |
