hi all,
just bought an old Honda MTX125, from someone on here. ( Thumbs Up Nick)
i hant actually received it yet, (its on its way thanks to Dave, the man with the van)
but i have a question regarding the engine on it.
the bike does not have the original engine in it & looks like its had a full engine transplant.
the engine now fitted has ATAC fitted.
the only other thing i know about the engine is that the engine number begins MD, which may indicate its not actually a 125 lump.
can anyone help me identify the engine?
& what bikes had the ATAC valve fitted?
i rememer asking about ATAC before when i had the ns(tc01), as it didnt have it fitted but i was told (by Keith, i think) that it was fitted to other versions of the ns but wasnt worth retro fitting as it was expensive & didnt really do much.
anyone care to advise?
cheers,
GAZ

I THINK it may be from CR125/250 from late 80's early 90's.

May be wrong. Confused
