Hey, ive just bought some new header pipes for my r6 2008 to get rid of that stupid cat box and give it more noise Razz How easy and long would it take to fit it as id rather do it myself than pay someone to do it. Ill use the standard end can untill i get anther one. Thanks

Yeh,it will probably be a bit tight if the rad is not removed,i haven't worked on post 2000 bikes so would imagine there isn't much room on newer stuff.

The advantage you have over the rest of us, is that your bik is relatively new, so you won't have uber-rusted exhaust studs that snap off when you try to undo them! That's one of the biggest problems...

Aye that is a good point, ill have to get some cooper grease though when fitting again wont it to make it easier in future, Only thing im concerned about is having to remove anything else like radiator etc to get the new headers on.

With it being a new bike i do not want to fuck it up, Been searching all night to see if it says anywhere on internet about having to remove anything to install a new exhaust but no luck.

I think you should give it a try...
- just take your time and try not to take shortcuts.

If you balls it up then just ring that chap and pay him £75 to sort it out.
