Hey,

Looking at getting one of these seeing as my restriction is out in June and wondering if there is anything I need to know?

One thing I was concerned about is wind protection. I know its a naked bike, but my MT is pretty poor at 70+. I like to make the odd motorway journey to see my girlfriend when shes at uni so would be nice if the FZ1 had better protection. I know there is a semi faired FZ1, but I think its looks pretty poor in comparison to the naked.

2008 model im going for.

Had nothing wrong with them bar the TPS but that normally gets changed under warrenty.
The naked one obvs has no wind protection but the semi is absolutly perfect for it.
Had no problems with them at all from memory. Thumbs Up
Get one.

Mate of mine has just got one nice bikes, i have the fz6 and wind protection never bothered me. The naked version looks the sex.

hey, i have the FZ1 Fazer - and its fooking mint!!! quick as fuck and really well made. Would defo consider the naked version if i didnt ride all year round! they look great!

Did you decide yet?
I have an 07 FZ1s with the touring fairing on, I have removed both cats from the exhaust which is supposed to give upto 10bhp extra and a nice surge at 4500rpm, I also just put a 15t front sprocket on it, 2 teeth down from standard. it now redlines in top, showing 180mph at 12000rpm, which equates to about 164mph. But it gets there faster than it took the stock bike to get to 145mph !!
Go on get one Wink or an Aprilia Touno
