they make some ok budget bass's.
For £80 it's only goiong to be useful for learning to play on tho..

I have a Peavy Milestone, its 3 year old now and seems a good guitar for beginners.
The strings seem to rattle on the neck a lot :\ that might be just cos I'm shit though. But my friends been playing bass for about 7 years now and it was still doing it for him Confused

Nicely priced too.
