Just playing around with some mapping software wanting some stuff to add.

What are your favourite bike friendly cafes, burger vans, chippies, etc. when out and about?

Post up the names and locations so I have something to work with.
Thanks.

To start the ball rolling here's 2 of mine:

Arrow Squires Cafe - B1222 between the A1 and Sherburn-in-Elmet.

Arrow Scotch Corner Cafe - in the layby (Sedbury layby) on the A66 just off the A1.

What's the one on the A686?
I did a search on here for this stuff but couldn't really find what I wanted from the results.

Thumbs Up

Fox's Diner is a good one. Its on the A4074 between Oxford and Reading. It's right next to a m&p which is quite good.

Have a look in the Northern forum (you are already a member, I just checked) cos there is a sticky at the top with loads of them.

It includes map links, postcodes and websites where available.

Wessons Cafe in Horam, East Sussex. (Used to be called Ogris Cafe)

Fantastic cordon bleu greasy spoonery with a bike shop to boot. Thoroughly recommended and much loved as a rideout destination on my 'mother forum'..

The lock keepers rest at Glasson Dock, Lancashire

https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=glasson&sll=53.979922,-2.833955&sspn=0.229758,0.752563&ie=UTF8&ll=53.998034,-2.847358&spn=0.000897,0.00294&t=k&z=19&iwloc=addr&om=1

The swing bridge you can see open in that pic is normally closed though.

Great place on a nice Sunday, lots of bikes around, good burgers Very Happy

Yeah I second the Oakdene Cafe, lots of bikers there around around though not so many as of late due to the coppers hiding around the nice sloping road around there.

How about H's Cafe on the A2 just past Canterbury, tis not usually too bad down there. It also has a Honda dealer slapped on the side of it.. or is it the Cafe slapped onto the side of the Honda dealer? Who knows.

Captain Jaspers on the Plymouth Barbican is worth a visit. Top notch old school greasy burgers and tea with safe parking right by and plenty of regular bikers.
