Well technically it was yesterday I did do, but hey!! Laughing

Visited Sammy Miller bike museum https://museum.sammymiller.co.uk/

When looking at some of the 'before' pictures, you can appreciate the hard work gone into restoring some of those!!

The place was spotlessly clean, bikes, stairways, everything!! Thumbs Up

Anyone else been there?

If you live anywhere near the south and didn't realise it was there, I recommend a visit!! ... Its also got a nice courtyard outside for a sit too (assuming its a sunny day and you rode a fair ways to get there and want/need a sit)!

We (me and m'boy) have been there. It was just down the road from where we were staying on holiday a few years ago.

Couldn't stay as long as we would have liked as the females were getting bored outside. But it is a great little place, really interesting and some lovely real old old bikes.

Definitely worth a visit if you're down that way. Thumbs Up

Been to the Haynes Motor Museum down south.
Had a bike room with lots of old bikes to more moden ones, well worth a visit also if you are into motor vehicles of all types

Good to go to, only problem is that without vouchers they are a bit dear if you are paying for a family to get in. Sad

Is it all old bikes, or are there any more modern (post 1970s) bikes on display?
Call me a philistine if you will, but classic bikes just don't interest me at all really. I could marvel at beautiful classic cars all day long(without a care for their performance), but the lack of performance of classic bikes renders them relatively uninteresting to me - possibly why i find cruisers etc so dull too.

There are a few post 70s there, but it is predominantly PRE 1970 to be honest. If you have little interest in post 70s, then its not really for you. Sad
